Raul Flores awarded WFLO Scholarship

ALEXANDRIA, VA, JANUARY 16, 2013 - RefrigiWear and the World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO) are pleased to announce the Second Annual RefrigiWear WFLO Institute scholarship winner for the 49th WFLO Institute. Mr. Raul Flores of Frez-N-Stor has been awarded the WFLO Scholarship for the 49th WFLO Institute, which will be held February 9-14, 2013 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia. 

RefrigiWear Sponsors the 2013 Yukon Quest Vet Team

RefrigiWear is thrilled to be a Veterinary Care Sponsor for the 2013 Yukon Quest, a 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race which starts February 2. The Yukon Quest, featuring 26 mushers, begins February 2, 2013 in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada, and ends whenever the final team crosses the finish line in Fairbanks, Alaska. Along the route there are nine checkpoints and four mandatory layovers where veterinarians are on hand to examine the dogs as they progress through the race.  

Warehouseman Winners Announced

For 13 years now, RefrigiWear has been privileged and proud to recognize some of our country’s hardest working employees – the American warehouse workers. It has become a RefrigiWear tradition now to recognize those that are deemed to be &"The Outstanding Warehouseman of the Year” by their managers and fellow employees – &"the best of the best” with the RefrigiWear 2013 Major League Warehouseman Calendar.

Hero Killed in Afghanistan – Online Fundraiser Established

One of our heroes serving our country in Afghanistan, Major Thomas Kennedy, was tragically killed by a Taliban suicide bomber this past August. The Kennedy's Angels fund has been established to raise money for a scholarship fund for his children so that they may have the same educational opportunities that he did.

RefrigiWear has announced that it will be donating 1% of all online gross sales in November to Major Kennedy’s online fund. RefrigiWear is honored to assist in any way possible and is grateful to Major Kennedy and all our brave servicemen and women.

Jose Diaz is Employee of the Quarter!

Dedicated to his job, Jose often comes in early and works through lunch (without complaints), just to ensure he gets his work done. WFLO Scholarship Announced

December 29, 2011: RefrigiWear and the World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO) are pleased to announce Mr. Andrew Schultze of Nor-Am Cold Storage, Inc. as the winner of the WFLO Scholarship for the 48th WFLO Institute, being held February 11-15, 2012 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Wes Dye is new WeatherGuard Sales Director

July 1, 2012: We are pleased to announce that a new member has joined the RefrigiWear team! Wes Dye has taken on the role of Sales Director for our WeatherGuard product line of insulated covers and bags for transporting perishable goods.
